Not only is the rain itself welcome in the North County, but the clouds that bring it turn the sky into an ever-changing canvas of shapes and color, with new views not only each night, but from minute to minute during the day for those who take a minute to look up.

One place where I often walk with my camera is through the vineyards. Zenaida Vineyards is one of my favorites during rainy season. Here is a poster I shot there:

If one is fortunate enough to be outside at the right time, one can even capture a rainbow. Unfortunately, rainbows often happen when we are driving and there is no good place to pull over and park. This one I could see from my back porch.
