Studios at the Park — Zip-a-Dee-Duo Exhibition

Painting of Potter by Frank Armitage at Earth Sky Pottery Studio

Painting of Potter by Frank Armitage at Earth Sky Pottery Studio

I dropped in on opening night for the artists reception, but I’d gotten there just too late to hear one of the featured artists, Frank Armitage, speak. I could kick myself for not knowing there was a good reason to get there on time. It was so crowded, there was no way to take any pictures without getting a lot of people included who might not want their pictures public. The other artist in the duo is Walt Peregoy. Both talented men worked for Disney and produced murals for the Disney parks. The exhibition, with great prices on these artists’ painitngs, ends on July 10, so hurry in before everything is gone. It’s an imaginative and colorful exhibit. I’m hoping to get some pictures later when the studio is less crowded. The photo above shows a painting of Frank’s of a potter at work. I saw it  hanging in the Earth Sky Pottery Studio, which was deserted, since everyone appeared to be at the showroom with Frank and Walt. Get more information on Zip-a-Dee-Duo here, and see representative paintings from both artists, as well as their background information. But don’t miss this exhibit.
