Thousand Oaks Trip and My Favorite Recipes

I got a bit behind here in June, since our 48th wedding anniversary was June 20, and we celebrated it in the Thousand Oaks area. We hiked where we used to roam at Mugu State Park, and then the next day we visited with longtime friends. In the morning, we women visited the World Gardens in Thousand Oaks, and then we joined the men later on at our friends’ home for a delicious dinner. Here are some pictures I took during our trip. Enjoy.

I’ve not been idle since I got home, but I’ve been very busy writing illustrated recipes for a contest on HubPages. In case you might be interested, here are some links to my favorites. Just click on pictures to get recipes. And if you like to cook or bake, why not get a new apron, as well?
