Leaves Changing Color in Riverbank

As I roam around the North County the signs of approaching autumn seem to be everywhere. As warm as the weather has been, I was surprised to see the leaves beginning to change color already. The oak across the street is beginning to drop acorns, and many of the trees that produce their fruits in fall are loaded.

I’m not sure what the above tree is.

If you access the river at Larry Moore Park on the south end, beware of the poison oak growing right out into the access path. Its leaves, too, are beginning to turn red.
