Large Contrail Strip Across the Sky March 16
There is no end to their variety and their beauty. Sometimes, such as last Sunday night, they send me from the garden into the house for my camera. I couldn’t resist taking the photo above when I saw this giant stripe in the sky.
Even though I was due soon at a physical therapy appointment on March 6, when I saw these clouds, I had to stop driving and pull over into the Veris Tasting Room parking lot to take this shot over Castoro Cellars. After the five minute detour to photograph the sky,I made the appointment by the skin of my teeth.

On March 9 I was driving home from Trader Joe’s along Vineyard Drive, and, again, I had to park to capture these shots of the sky.
