You need to get in before April 29 to see “California Backroads and Kindred Spirits,” landscape paintings by Sheryl Knight and Linda Mutti, and also “Gardens,” with many media, in the Paso Robles Art Association Gallery.

Paso Robles Festival of the Arts 2011 Has Left the Park, but Not My Heart
If you were unable to attend the 2011 Paso Robles Festival of the Arts, come along with me and see some of what you missed. Even I couldn’t see all of it. Even if you were there, your experience could have been totally different than mine, since there were so many choices of activities, and so much to see.
Day in the Shade, 2011, in Templeton Park
Walk around with me a bit at Templeton’s 2011 Day in the Shade in the park where we will see some of the arts and crafts some talented people have created to offer for sale. Featured here are Designs by Helene, Dan Shattuck’s Recycled Art, and the glass art made from recycled bottles made by Rachel Tamagni. You will also see and hear Alicia R. Broussard, the vocalist for this event, set up and warm up before the official performance time.
Just Sweet at Studios on the Park
Come along and share my experiences at the opening reception of the Studios on the Park “Just Sweet” Exhibition on Friday night, February 5, 2011. I saw great paintings and other works of art, learned about encaustic painting and photography from Heidi Franscioni, talked with Sally Tippman and other artists, and got videos so that you can hear those conversations and see some of the paintings. You can also hear the Love Notes sing.
Bremen Town Musicians Play at Templeton Farmers Market This Morning
Today gave us a break from winter temperatures and many were out walking or riding. The Bremen Town folk musicians played at Farmers Market in Templeton and when I went for a walk near Turley Tasting Room, I saw this couple riding in tandem along Vineyard Dr. It felt like spring here today.

Don’t miss “Just Sweet” An Exhibition of Creative Confections,” at Studios on the Park in Paso Robles, February, 2011. The opening reception on February 5 mixes art, music and wine, but you can still see the art until February 27.
