North San Luis Obispo County has a wealth of different scenes. From the beach at Cambria to a covered bridge in Paso Robles and all the wine country in between, there is plenty of variety for those who want to explore on foot. The 2012 Paso Robles Festival of the Arts has now vacated City Park for another year, and I’ve done my best to preserve some of it for you. In this post I will concentrate on the Children’s Area and the sculpture I saw. If you did not see enough Sculpture here, you have a chance to see more before and on June 2, 2012 at the Phantom 2 exhibit.
This is the weekend (May 25-27) to celebrate the arts at The Annual Paso Robles Festival of the Arts. I went to the “Don’t Feed the Artists” discussion in the library conference room this afternoon, but the main events are still to come tomorrow at City Park, and they are free to attend. Don’t miss them. Bring the kids and they will be exposed to fun art activities in their own corner of the park.
Follow me pictorially through a busy day of activities in Templeton and Paso Robles while trying to lead a balanced life. From Farmers Market in Templeton to photographing the tail end of the Wine Festival in Paso Robles before moving on to art activities still going on in the vicinity of the park.
Art is everywhere in North San Luis Obispo County this week. If you didn’t get to Day in the Shade in Templeton today, it’s a shame. But there’s still time to see the Phantom 2 Gallery in Paso Robles before June 2, 2012. I give you just a taste of it here.
May in Paso Robles is full of exciting art exhibits and activities. There are currently at least two exhibits at Studios on the Park, and two celebrations Saturday night, May 5 within half a block of each other. If this weren’t enough, we have the Festival of the Arts to look forward to on May 25-27 — a three day event this year. Here’s a preview.
