Don’t miss the Third Annual Central Coast Lavender Festival coming on July 9, 2011.
If you haven’t been to Twin Cities Hospital since they remodeled, you just might get lost trying to find the emergency room. I have written an article to help you get reoriented before you have to get there in a hurry and it also describes some of the changes that will make your visit more pleasant.
If you were unable to attend the 2011 Paso Robles Festival of the Arts, come along with me and see some of what you missed. Even I couldn’t see all of it. Even if you were there, your experience could have been totally different than mine, since there were so many choices of activities, and so much to see.
The Paso Robles Festival of the Arts comes but once a year. This year it kicked off with an artists reception at Studios on the Park, one of its major sponsors. I check out the “Colors of Water”exhibit, as well as the Paso Robles Art Association Exhibit, “Wine, Women, and Song,” and share my discoveries, as well as some of the winning pieces from these juried exhibits. Please join me.
The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art is a wonderful resource, and I enjoyed seeing the Achievers: The Art of Engineering exhibit there today. I share a bit of what I saw and learned in this post. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that our own Studios on the Park in Paso Robles compares very well to the art museum to the south.
